Big Shoes There are days that I swear that Ellie is getting a little too big for her britches but it looks like she is already trying on some new shoes to grow into. I guess that she figures "forget the pants, bring on the shoes". Carrie Bradshaw watch out, here comes Ellie!

Ellie's Tube-tastic Adventure

Everything went well today. We got up early and headed to the surgical center at about 5:45, changed into our hospital pjs, and waited our turn. Ellie did great, she didn't even cry when the nurse took her down the hall. She was back in my arms in about fifteen minutes. After a good nap and breakfast she was good as new (maybe even better)!! What a brave big girl!!

As the Tub Drains...

In last week's episode Ellie screamed and screamed in the tub. What to do? Neither Bill nor I could figure out what the problem was. Is it her ears, her diaper or heat rash, or has she just developed a fear of the tub? And now for this week's episode....

After discussing it with Grandma Meme and doing some research it appeared that she is scared of the tub... So now we are getting washed instead of taking a bath. The first night was shaky, that is why she is wearing her hat, it helped her calm down before we even got into the bathroom. But after some splashing in the sink and drinking water out of a big cup the anxiety seemed to go away. On night number two Ellie was actually asking to go into the bath and wanted to undress. We made it into the bathroom without her hat and she even sat in the sink to play. So far so good, hopefully our baby steps will lead us back into the tub!! Wish us luck!

Ellie' s WeekendSaturday night Ellie stayed up late and got out of a bath andbrushing her teeth to go and visit Deb and her Rah-Rah friends.

Ellie and I enjoyed hot chocolate and animal crackers on Sunday afternoon. It was rainy and cold, what could be better than something warm and a movie???

...and her other hat! We had a fun, fun day!! We found out that Bill got the Golden Boot award at the soccer tournament this weekend for scoring the most goals (even though one of them was on himself... oops!) and his team won the whole thing. Way to go Daddy!!

This has nothing to do with Ellie but all the girls from work and I went to go see Reno 911! Miami. IT WAS AWESOME!! I think that I may have peed a little in my pants from laughing so hard!

Playin' Around at HomeI love playing with my pom-poms! They are fun to take in and out of the bottle, rub on my lips, and use to drink water out of the dog's bowl. Mmmm... very refreshing!!

I really, really love it when Daddy reads to me. My favorite book is my Peter Rabbit book, there are furry tails and fuzzy tummys to feel. I love it!!
