In last week's episode Ellie screamed and screamed in the tub. What to do? Neither Bill nor I could figure out what the problem was. Is it her ears, her diaper or heat rash, or has she just developed a fear of the tub? And now for this week's episode....
After discussing it with Grandma Meme and doing some research it appeared that she is scared of the tub... So now we are getting washed instead of taking a bath. The first night was shaky, that is why she is wearing her hat, it helped her calm down before we even got into the bathroom. But after some splashing in the sink and drinking water out of a big cup the anxiety seemed to go away. 
On night number two Ellie was actually asking to go into the bath and wanted to undress. We made it into the bathroom without her hat and she even sat in the sink to play. So far so good, hopefully our baby steps will lead us back into the tub!! Wish us luck!
